Sebastien Goes To A Cricket Game NZ
On the eighth of February I took Sebastien ze frog to the international cricket game Blackcaps vs. Bangladesh. Sebastien wanted to know what a cricket game looks like in New Zealand.
The cricket ground was a giant circle with a stadium of seats each side and lots of grass for people to sit on. When we found a spot we put up the chair and sat down. I put up a little chair for Sebastian to sit in. We were there because I was playing out on the field when the two teams had their break at half time. I felt nervous but excited at the same time.
It was time! I walked out on the field. I am up as first bowler I take a short run up and flick my hand. The ball just misses the wickets.
After another few balls I got up for batting. The bowler bowled the ball. I swung the bat. I nick the ball. We ran two and I was back batting. I hit the ball hard it goes flying into the crowd. The Blackcaps and Bangladesh teams came back out so I went back and sat down on my chair and relaxed. I watched the rest of the game and the Blackcaps won! Yay!
